If "MeshSplit" is not working:

you can try:
splitting it at a different position
splitting smaller parts
MeshRepair - then MeshSplit
ReduceMesh - then MeshSplit
if nothings working maybe MeshToNurbs and normal Split

Menu: Curve >> Curve from Objects >> Extract Points
